The first one was a high school English teacher. He and his boyfriend murdered his wife. The guy went to the Kentucky State Penitentiary but got out after only serving 12 years.

Then this happened last week.

I thought both of them were good guys. I am rocked that they committed these crimes.

Do they know you?

That’s the pivotal question to answer.

He probably got out on "bad behavior" cause he was enjoying it to much.

How senseless is this? If you want to screw around outside your marriage, nobody has to be murdered for it. Divorce is common now, and I’m sure she’d rather be alive and humiliated.

That thought occurred to me. I figured that he probably enjoyed prison so much that if he ever got out he would try to break back in.

Congrats. I use to be friends.. Like hang out on weekends, go places with friends.. in HS with someone who is serving life for a murder.

I use to work with a guy who gave me a burned copy of Carter I about 2 weeks before he got jumped then went inside, got a gun and shot and killed one of the dudes who jumped him. He is serving life in Angola.

You really have no idea what someone will do. You can't ever think "I wouldn't ever think this person who do that".

Most of the people I’ve represented on murder charges didn’t have a violent rap. It’s usually a snap decision, which is why no penalty, whether the death penalty, life without the opportunity for parole, etc, has the least fricking effect on murder rates. People have always done stupid shite. People will always do stupid shite. Some of that stupid shite will result in someone dying. Trying to retcon your way into believing that person was “evil” all along is mental masturbation.

Interesting perspective...I have never thought about it this way.

Sounds to me like you're the only common thread linking two murders.

Where were you on or about the days the murders took place...
