Sorry dude.
I'm a pretty big guy.
But I won't fly unless I have an aisle seat. I'm not so big that I need a belt extender.

See, I also have a problem...

I eat too fricking much

I was once on a flight from Amsterdam to Bucharest next to a guy who raised the armrest between us. THAT was an uncomfortable flight.

all air travel sucks no matter who you are sitting next to...might as well be riding on a damn donkey, as far as I am concerned.

Could be worse, I don't need a seatbelt extension but my shoulders are wider than a business class seat.

Once, and only once, there was only one seat left on the plane between me and another guy. We both wondered if a babe would come in next. Instead, a huge 350+ fatty squeezed down the aisle and plopped down between us. He had to raise the seat arms to sit and his lard arse oozed over on each of us. I was against the window and was fricking doomed for the flight from Bham to Chicago.

Years ago I was the last person on a flight from San Diego to Phoenix. The only seat left was the middle seat in the last row and in the aisle seat was former GB Packer o-lineman Rich Moran- now an NFL agent- and one of the players he represented, a 300+ pound DT. I was probably around 225 and had to sit leaning forward the whole flight as I literally would not fit in the seat. Thankfully it was only a 1 hour flight.

Trapped between an OL and DT. Sounds an hour-long fumble recovery attempt and you were the football.

It's discrimination for you to expect that you will get to use your entire seat that you paid for. Check your privilege.

It's a new America...Trump signed an EO that eliminated the need to check privilege.

I'd be curious to know how many times that each person(seated next to each other,) are making the identical, simultaneous posts about their seat mates

Should have to buy two tickets IMO.

So because he's taking 10% of another seat he should have to pay for 100% of another seat? All that does is let fewer people travel, and let the airline make more money per flight. They aren't the one being inconvenienced, you are. Maybe the solution is he should pay for 10% of your seat. That'd be an interesting system people could get discounted flights paid for by the person next to them.

Airplanes are limited by weight capacity. Why not tie fares to weight?

Think there's an Asian airlines that does this. God bless them.
