I wonder if the OT reaction would have been different if they thought the girl being picked on was poor. Or if she was a ginger.

So if your kid is 9 years old now, I'm going to guess you are about 25 years old.

He's only 80 pounds. I just threw him down and burned him with cigarettes.

Actually, a fate worse for a kid who hates writing assignments. He's writing an apology. When he's done he will rewrite it to correct all spelling and punctuation mistakes, maybe several times. He actually feels pretty bad for going along with his buddies on this.

Considering how serious bullying has become at school the teacher did the right thing. If this is something that started at the beginning of the year and this is the first time it is reported no serious consequence will happen.

Completely disagree. Kids learn to be a-holes from their parents. Kids will play with most anyone. As they get older they learn to be a-holes by watching their parents.

You will see kids that respect others and authority and you will see kids like the OP's kid. All on parentage ...

Kids will be kids occasionally. For this to go on for months as the teacher accuses ... well that is more than a kid being a kid. That is a kid being an a-hole

How funny is this story if you found out the little girl was living with her grandparents who have very little money and can't afford to buy her new clothes and do not wash her clothes daily? All because her parents are drug addicts or are in prison?

Not so funny anymore. Not just kids being kids.

You have no idea the struggle that the person sitting next to you is going through. Especially when they are kids and are subject to their parents poor decisions.

I would hope my son would chose to show love and compassion to her and ask me what we could do as a family to help her.

But, I guess you think it's funny she stinks.

Your son is normal. The girl obviously is the child of a feminist and is definitively puke worthy. Congratulate your son on his good taste. You don't want him dating skanks.

Aux,

Last year my boy went into the recess yard for a science experiment. He is your son's age. Shortly after the teacher could not find him. When she finally did; he was found pissing all over the side building of the school.

I received an "urgent" call from his teacher while I was at work. After hearing this; I have to admit I laughed at first into my fist; but when his arse came home; I made him read the statute of indecent exposure. I also made him read the minimum and maximum punishments for this crime!

It was funny because what man doesn't like to piss outside?

But I scared him enough with the cops and jail; I bet he never sticks his little prick out of his pants if he's not on the proper place.

So scare the shite out of him with the bullying and jail.

Kids don't like the thought of jail.

the passive/aggressive generation. Your son has bigger balls than the school administration and I say that with a wife who teaches. Beat his arse or shut the hell up teacher.

You couldn't be more right. Except about me thinking it's funny that she smells. He had a good learning moment about people in rough situations. Nearly brought the boy to tears.

You would have to know the kid to understand why the teacher's perception is funny to me. I did a shitty job in the op of expressing that.

Your son just needs to tote a good arse whipping. At this rate, I'm sure it's coming.

It's not funny at all man. If you are laughing at this situation then maybe you as the PARENT should get your arse whipped. I've got kids and trust me if my boy came home with this bullshite he wouldn't be able to sit for a day or two on his bruised arse. You just don't know what that other childs situation is but as an adult you should be able to comprehend what it would be like for your boy if the shoe was on the other foot. Whip his arse good and make sure he apologies in front of his friends.

You really think this was the first time he did this? Kids are a testament to their parents, we need fresh ditch diggers. Keep on.
