Got it for the first time last week after attending a wedding in Michigan.

First night was 103.5 fever, that was horrific, but then rapidly got better.

It really was weird

Caught it about a month ago. Was fine all day on a Saturday and then was extremely tired by evening. Sleep off and on for about 12 hours and couldn't shake the chills. Woke up Monday morning like nothing happened. Went to work and then got a call on wed that several people I was around all weekend tested positive. Took 2 tests, both positive, self quarantined for a few days and only other symptom was nasal congestion that was gone in a few days.

Hopefully you don't get long COVID, which is terrifying and will likely cripple society in the future as millions of people suffer debilitating long term issues

I'm just getting over it, and the fatigue for me is the worst part right now. Definitely kicked my butt for a few days - fever/chills, headache, body aches, extreme fatigue, random bouts of nausea - basically felt like the flu.

Had the Pfizer vax but no booster. First time getting it, that I know of. And yes, it definitely sucked for a few days.

Had a bad headache but low fever. Fine after a couple days

I had a headache, runny nose for half a day. It rapidly improved in the evening. No symptoms afterward except some fatigue.

The chest cold I had two months ago was 10x worse. I could have easily worked if not for the quarantine requirements.

The average person has nothing to fear from Covid.

I had it back when Delta was the dominant strain. No jab and felt bad(aches, lost taste and smell) for 3 days. Then another 2 or 3 days and I was feeling back to normal. Taste and smell took about 3 months to fully recover. It was pretty much like having the flu except for the loss of taste and smell for so long. Glad I didn't fall for the you're going to die if you don't get the jab propaganda.

The positivity rate in Houston's waste water is up 843 %

It's everywhere here, I know 20 people who have had it in the past 3 weeks.

One person is still in really bad shape.

My dad woke up with it yesterday. He's very weak and has heavy congestion. He's on the antiviral regimen but it doesn't seem to be doing much good. We are considering putting him in the hospital. Anybody who thinks this is a nothingburger, frick you.

Finished it a few days ago, as did my friend who is in her 70’s and overweight. It seemed to work really well after about a day and a half for both of us, but we both had milder symptoms, similar to a sinus infection. Hopefully it does the trick soon for your dad as well.
