It is very populated. I was in Connecticut on Tuesday for work. People were out and about. Very few people in masks. Golfing, riding bikes, going for walks, I've never seen so many people out and about.
I was in Delaware yesterday (also for work). People were out, but more people in masks/distancing.
It just seems like if people want to be out and put themselves at risk, that should be their choice. It seems like that is what is happening anyway.

This was expected, if anything I thought it would be until the end of May.
Honestly I just wish they hadn't closed county parks. They're all large enough that people could socially distance with no problems, and they were a good way to get of the house and exercise. Now there are municipal parks open (in some towns, some shut them) but those are often smaller and so there's more people crammed in, which means those will eventually be shut too.

I don't know. For me, this is just as bad as people who say we're all going to die if we don't lock ourselves in an underground bunker 24/7.
Economic impact is serious. Health impact is also serious. Balancing the two is difficult enough without either side claiming it's all over if we don't adopt their view.
It's better to make reasoned decisions as we deal with the pandemic and manage the economy. Making decisions driven by fear and hyperbole is the opposite of that.

The decisions based on fear and bad data are how we got here.

Yeah, the past couple months have been a farce. If we had just kept living like normal everything would’ve been fine.
