North Shore woman faces 60 years in prison after 5th DWI

In other words, she will be out driving in six months.
The article mentions that she could be sentenced to 60 years as a habitual offender. At what point would she be considered habitual? I would think after her third one. And it looks like she has injured someone before.

Yes. I bet she has spent no more than two or three days in jail. It’s appalling that she previously injured someone when drunk and nothing was done.

What I never comprehend is how someone with that many offenses can still afford to drink
That has to come out to a ton of court costs and fines and not to mention hinders your ability to seek gainful employment
