South La has always considered North La part of East Tx...So we should be opening our economy with East Tx not New Orleans. What y'all think?

You’re southern ark-Kansas, not part of el Mexico Norte.

as a north LA resident, I am completely fine with the idea of joining Texas

lol....what economy does South La even have now? At least our area has one of the largest Air Force bases in the world.

Probably not in the top 20 if you count overseas bases.
I said Air Force bases...not Air bases (non US) , not joint bases. You obviously don’t have a fracking clue. So please tell me what South La got that compares?

Isn't CenturyLink in Monroe?

I don’t know why people from south Louisiana get so fricking triggered by north Louisiana.

South Louisiana and CenturyLink
ETA: I'm pretty sure there's a lot of old money up there, too.

North Louisiana squandered a lot of its momentum it had around 2009 with Haynesville Shale and Cyber Command.
You could argue around that same time the Shreveport economy probably had the best trajectory in the state and seemingly overnight it went away.
