For a seemingly smart girl that is a pretty shite opinion. Maybe she should've picked a better school.
Let me know when you have to trek the Gobi desert to escape america
You know this board has gone full retard when i get a downvote for saying America isn't as bad as North korea

Considering NK literally sends you to gulags I'd say they're worse

Ah there it is, she's just parroting shite she probably heard from someone else

In your view, what is the biggest contributing factor to her not being able to form her own opinion based on her diverse experiences? Is it because she's a woman or because she's Asian? Or is it an immigrant thing?

Probably the fact that she said America is worse than North Korea.
If a liberal claimed that you would be calling them a traitor. Get your head out of your arse for once.

You have zero reading comprehension.

She said the environment within American universities is as nuts as North Korea. It's not like this is the first time someone has discussed how insane colleges have gotten.
If you have a different experience after living in North Korean and then attending an Ivy League school, I would be interested to hear it.

Sure we'll take your opinion as someone who didn't go to CU and isn't from North Korea over the person who went to CU and is from North Korea on the topics of CU and North Korea

I wasn't aware she discussed her political leanings. Allow me to follow your lead and reconsider my position based solely on my assumptions about her politics.

I think she had a bad experience in college and either her parents or the media consumed poured enough fear mongering into her forming this opinion

There are 5,300 colleges in America. Her attending 1 of them isn't enough experience to determine that colleges here are more nuts than in North Korea.
So if Kamala came out and said colleges in America are worse than North Korea you would be in full support of her for making such a brave statement?

Are we pretending that academia hasn't gone off the deep end?
She didn't just attend a college. She went to fricking Columbia, which is a top tier institution that influences lower universities in almost every way.

Eventually you'll get down to what she actually said after you cycle through other flailing arguments
"She said the US was worse than NK" - she didn't
"She said colleges were worse than NK" - she didn't
"She said after attending CU she feels even NK isn't as nuts as that environment" - the truth

Let me know when the students on North Korean campuses are watching Netflix and playing ps5, or discussing their countries politics with people across the world. Nuts is being isolated from the rest of the world. Also the girl never attended a North Korean university.

This pretty much sums it up. But go ahead and push that CRT crap, LSU.

I would probably need to hear the context and what she is basing her statement on. But I am crazy like that.
BTW, this angle you're taking is such an awful look.

One of my best friends dad immigrated from Cuba in 1971. That man loves getting into facebook wars with people saying how bad the United States is

I can maybe respect her for having issues with the curriculum at Columbia, but reading her bio and she was a victim of human trafficking and her dad was sent to a labor camp. Comparing her experience at Columbia to that reality is laughable and discredits her opinion. But that opinion tracks with the inherent bias of the conservative movement, so they're going to eat it up without much critical thought.

Are you impaired in some way
Saying "Here is my experience with nuts a Columbia"
And then saying "it was chaos, it felt like regression, even NK isn't this nuts"
=
"NK isn't as nuts as what I saw at Columbia"
Which is not "America is worse than NK"
nor
"All American colleges are worse than NK"
Hope that helps

gallo wants to know what you'd think if Kamala Harris said something similar.

I find it amusing that someone who claims not to be able to keep her English pronouns straight is also capable of colloquialisms like "How the heck do I incorporate that into my sentences?"
Progressive thought policing has gotten absurd, but comparing the universities in the US with the general socio-political atmosphere in North Korea strikes me as a bit of a stretch.
