Honest question. Will North Baton Rouge ever make a comeback? Is this the leader that black people have "elected" to speak their voice? Do people that look up to him truly have confidence that he can do this? Can he step away long enough from a 10 piece, tuck his shirt and in to be able to articulate and orchestrate cohesiveness, leadership or unity instead of the deviousness that comes out of his mouth when he is not eating?

Or will NBR remain the shits stain that it is, filled with Section 8 housing, dilapidated buildings and generally only occupied by dollar stores, pawn shops, payday lenders and the like?

All you have to do is look at the BR malls. Anyone can visit a business and it has nothing to do with politics. Why are certain malls so terrible. What was their demise?

When marijuana is legalized, NBR will become one of those places that Sally Struthers asks for money to give water to the kids that have flies walking all over their faces.

As long as the youth of North BR buys into this bullshite it will never change. South BR will continue to grow, North BR will continue to be a shithole.

But ask Denise or Gary and they will tell you its everyone else's fault

Are you referring to Bon Marche Mall? And Cortana Mall?

And potentially, Mall of Louisiana?

Ask a black person in north Baton Rouge if they would have a better chance of selling a 76 Cutlass with 24" rims in north Baton Rouge or south Baton Rouge? Correct answer would be north Baton Rouge of course.

Like any other business, you set up shop where your market is...and north Baton Rouge market is only for drugs and pimped out cars. Maybe Gary can relate to that.

This dude is such a POS.

He is so pissed that there was no brawl at the town hall meeting & the metro council will not give him the time of day.
He is a self appointed ambassador to NBR & since no one of any importance actually gives a shite his only option is to keep a group of ignorant thugs stirred up.

I despise this man & everything he stands for. He doesn't stand for his community, black lives or NBR.
All he cares about is how often his fat face gets tv time.

Yeah, it's disgusting to watch young, idealistic, irrational, ignorant fools like GC ignore and ostracize peacemakers and moderates because they don't endorse his brand of progress. He's the next racial huckster set to make money off his ability to keep opening to wounds of the past.

I've said it many times and I'll say it again, GC has every single motivation to make sure BR stays completely divided. You never see he talking about how we have to come together, but rather what blacks need to do to get back at whites. His future success will depend on his ability to keep opening the wounds of the past while outright lying to his constituency.

I want to do a facetime interview with this mother fricker and post it on here. The questions I would ask him are as followed:

- In reference to the Alton Sterling shooting, do you think the shooting was justified and if not, would you mind explaining why you feel it wasn't justified?

- You make general comments about whites being the ones who divide and conquer, are you saying this applies to every white person who lives in Baton Rouge? And do you think the way you approach being an activist is bringing people together or dividing?

- Do you think the protest that took place in Baton Rouge achieved anything? And do you think the attention Baton Rouge was getting because of the protest, inspired the killer, who killed three police officers in Baton Rouge, to come to Baton Rouge?

- As an activist for NBR, can you please explain your goals?

- And why do you not address a much bigger problem in NBR? These problems being the black on black murders.

When I was a kid, Bon Marche mall was the "bad" mall, and Cortana was the "good" mall. By the time the Mall of Louisiana was built, Bon Marche has closed and Cortana became the "bad" mall.

Hell, is Cortana mall even still open?
