That's where you're wrong. Yes they're spread out all over the globe (thanks liberals) but the center of their culture is in the Middle East. Their whole death cult (and that's exactly what Islam really is) is centered in and around the Middle East.

First you stop the flood of Muslims into the west. Second, you start leveling the Middle East city by city while letting them know that as long as they keep their shite up, we will be busy obliterating everything they hold dear and the places they consider holy. Make them see that the only possible outcome of their continued terrorism is the total destruction of Islamic culture. Won't be pretty, millions will die. So Darth, let's say you're a young goat fricker in the middle east. You've gotta shitty life but you're content and you don't give a shite about the US. Now one day a plane flies over and kills your whole family. How much convincing would it take for you to give up your shitty life and dedicate yourself to killing Americans? Probably not much.

This is the problem with that type of strategy, it radicalizes more than it kills.

How incredibly simple minded. The point is that islamic terrorists don't give a shite about the wellbeing of Middle Eastern nations. The Japanese obviously cared a great deal about the wellbeing of their nation. If you just "carpet bomb the entire middle east" you'll not only kill millions of innocent men women and children but you also won't be doing a thing to eliminate the incentive for people to join these groups. In fact you'll just make it worse because the US would look even more like an overbearing dictator.
