Been a Louisiana expat for nearly 20 years, and I can confidently say no one hates on Louisiana like people from there. It enjoys a better reputation than you think when you're outside of it

Have a hard time considering Alexandria VA a small City...sits 7 miles south of of d.c... in the metro area and part of the metro line to d.c.

NOLA’s skyline is much larger than a city of less than 400,000 (city proper) population. Maybe that’s what deceives people?

Hard to argue with this. The food in south Louisiana is awesome.
If the crime, corruption, and white collar job situation was addressed, NOLA would be a little boom town.
