NOLA Lambo driver sentenced to prison

Criminal District Judge Robin Pittman handed Adams, 32, his agreed-upon sentence - 10 years, five of them suspended - at an emotional hearing Friday where family members of the victim, 23-year-old Kristi Lirette, filled four rows of gallery aisles. Most wore yellow.
Adams pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide on April 30, two years after the crash. Both of Lirette's parents gave victim impact statements before Pittman handed down the sentence and a court bailiff handcuffed Adams, who was headed to state custody.

Good. Dude basically showed no remorse at any point after the crash. He tried to play the victim.

She's still awaiting trial on that charge but pleaded guilty to DWI in a separate incident this past April and got the typical slap on the wrist, mostly fines, substance abuse therapy, community service and suspended sentence on jail time.
