Lots and lots or roads in the downtown area are being paved for the Super Bowl

What's wrong with that? The street is shite and could use a fresh start. Besides, who goes there for the street anyway? It's what's on both sides of the street.

If it wasn't for the Super Bowl coming up they'd probably just pave that one little strip and leave the rest unfinished for 2 years.

Maybe it’s the perspective of the shot. But if they paved up to the level of the curb like it looks, without major drainage work, they will flood the shite out of those buildings

I went to the passport center the other day and had to wait 3 hours for it to print. Was amazed at all the road work, it was inconvenient but some of those roads have been in bad shape since the 2000's.

Will be 130 degrees on that street in August.

Probably took them 2 months just to do that one half for a few blocks

Patchwork for looks. Hopefully they rip it all up and replace with concrete ASAP.

i'm sorry but
they couldn't do this 20 years ago?
