I'd get out. Talk to most people who stayed for Laura, they would have left too.

I’m in Metairie, Cleary and the lake area. Holding it down, pretty damn concerned

Can’t feel guilty we all make our beds and now we have to lay in them. Wish we would have left but parents and in laws are old enough that if something is to happen they will need help and I want to be close enough to help

Stayed because my wife couldn't leave and I wasn't leaving without her.

I am closer to transcontinental just hoping the flooding is limited to streets only and not in my house

I’m in Metairie. Would be lying if I didn’t say I’m a little nervous.

The wife made me leave yesterday at 4 AM before traffic hit and I didn’t want to go. Now I’m grateful and in Tallahassee away from the storm. Good luck to anyone staying.

Good luck baws. I have no idea why you guys didn't leave 2-3 days ago, but good luck nonetheless. Prayers your way.

Fox8 weather guessers saying we should see 100mph winds here on the Westbank up to the intercoastal (I can almost throw a rock from my roof and hit the water).

The eye is still expected to pass well west headed towards Houma.

shite, man. Stay safe. I can't shake the dread I feel for this one. Hopefully I'm just being a bitch.

I’m here. Honestly, waking up and turning on the TV, I was somewhat relieved. No overnight turn towards us. But of course, it’s a Cat 4.

Metairie, close to the lake…mainly concerned about the winds and my roof, which probably needed to be replaced two years ago.

I’m regretting only getting 10 spare gallons of gas. I should have gotten more cans.

Just pace yourself with it. If you need more you will want to leave anyway

Same here. My wife talked me in to evacuating with her to her parents house in Bushnell. We both had a bad feeling about this one and sadly it looks like we were correct. Only problem is I have to book it back to Louisiana for emergency service repairs on communication networks once it's over.

My entire family lives in Baton Rouge and decided to stay. I wish they would have left. I'm worried for them.

That’s how I felt and why I came back to Nola. It is what it is now.

Well looks like that decision to stay wasn’t great.

I'd be more concerned about what will take place after it passes, hope you have a gun and ammo.
