Really appreciate the update. Trying to get someone to go take a look at a house on Memphis but sounds like that’s not happening just yet. What a mess.

A friend posted a photo of his house in Lakeview (not sure exactly where) and there was three to four feet of water in the house. I know others who live really close to lakeview who don't have flooding damage though

No water in my section of Lakeview. But our area pumps into City Park, not toward the Lake.

I just got an update on our house North of Filmore between Canal Blvd and the park. Street flooding but stopped before landing in front of door. Im raised maybe 5-6 ft. Neighbor said no visual damage on the outside. Will be a bit before I know if roof or window sealing was compromised but so far nothing apparent which is a miracle considering that nasty eastern turn

I’m in the same area just south of Filmore. I put down some Sandbags, so I have a total clearance of about 2 feet from my yard. I get a flooded yard during bad thunderstorms, so I’m pretty pessimistic about my place at this point.

There’s been a couple of fires near that area. Relais Apartments on West Esplanade near by and potentially there

Hey all. Can Anyone provide a general update for the Gentilly Woods neighborhood? (flooding? Massive wind damage? Etc.

Appreciate any info.

Stayed, wind was interesting, happy it seemed to be coming from the east. Have some old staled glass windows on the north, think I lucked out. Shingles here and there. Overall I'm OK with it.
No power, no cell, only wifi with the generator running.
Hope everyone else did as well or better. Be safe.
