A doctor? Are you under the impression that a medical degree gives doctors a superior understanding of statistics? And no, I’m an electrical engineer. As an EE I have far more training in wave theory than most medical doctors do?

understanding of statistics

This is honestly the most shocking thing I have learned in this entire corona ordeal.

How many people can not decipher data or understand application of statistics

does Fox ever spin stories? I think CNN is overly critical; but you cant criticize cnn without also criticizing fox. if u dont you are hypocritical.

Absolutely FoxNEws spins stories. Only the naive think their favorite news channel doesn't spin stories.

Went to St. Augustine today and went to the beach.

Then went to St. George Street.

Saw a few older folks with mask. Most people were going about their business without them. Used hand sanitizer a few times throughout the day.

Was a good day

We never should have closed. And screw the Nazi governors through this. That never should be allowed for any reason.

I believe Georgia has been open about 3 weeks. No spike there.

Yes. Multiple states have been open over the “14 day mark” and none have seen spikes. Tell penrod he needs his money back from his electrical engineering classes

Fabulous to see this. The decreases seem to stop but I’ll take ‘plateau’ any day.

It is too soon for a spike to have occurred. It will take at least two months before we start to get a read on whether or not there will be a spike.

It is a big mistake for people in favor of reopening to make the argument over whether or not there will be a spike. That is an argument they will probably lose. The right argument is whether the spike, if it occurs, will overwhelm our hospitals. That is an argument they will likely win.

Jesus. You people will never give up, will you?

NEWS FLASH: THERE WAS NEVER A SPIKE OF CORONAVIRUS IN THE US

You're not doing your side any favors by pretending nothing ever happened.

Sure, but they're not as blatant as CNN in stretching or even fabricating stories.

People on the poliboard are complaining that Cavuto criticized Trump's COVID response in a recent interview of MO's governor. I saw Martha MacCallum do a decently tough interview of Brian Kemp when he began to reopen GA. Fox is obviously solidly conservative-favoring and definitely spins stories, but they aren't totally pathetic like the other networks are.

And as an engineer, you have a far worse understanding of viral vectors as they move through populations than physicians.

Which is why there will be no significant spike other than ramping up testing of asymptomatic patients which gives us more “cases” but means nothing.

GA, AR, SC, AL, MS, and TX all in the southern portion of the country and probably a shite pot more. I think CO, MT, and the Dakota’s never closed either.

I may be wrong though
