I had to look this up but yes they do, although most of that was in Central/South America

Modern rap is pure garbage.

80s and 90s rap definitely more of my speed over the new stuff.

Grunge is actually making a comeback. Tons of garage bands on social media all jamming AIC or Nirvana and making their own grunge tunes.

Hair metal was glam, aimed at women.

Yeah, but I bet you still jam out when Every Rose comes on.

Also, Tesla still doesn't get enough love for being one of the best bands from that era

One of the worst songs by one of the worst bands of that era.

I saw Coheed and Cambria with Taking Back Sunday a month or so ago, and there were a lot more folks that looked much younger than me than I expected.

Definitely still a fair share of early 2000s emo rocker chicks that look like moms now.

I will die on the hill that the live version of Welcome Home is better than the studio version

I think Poison set the bar.

There were legit metal groups in the 80s, Hair Metal was an abomination for the most part.

Mumbling your way through the lyrics in a dead monotone isn't an art form? Who knew?

They still rock.

And the lead for Taking Back Sunday has the Mick Jagger squirrely dancing thing down. He was surprisingly electric.

I don't disagree, but it's still nostalgic for many, considering it brings them back to Jr High and High School

BTW, this still blows my mind. These were all released within 44 days of each other in 1991

I was 11 years old in 1991, and I begged my parents for my first guitar

Why 1991 Had the Best 6-Month Release Period in Rock + Metal History

On a similar vein, when Bulls on Parade comes on my playlist on YTM, it's always part of some random compilation album and I always screen shot and send it in my super inner circle group text.

Oh, I get it. I remember going to clubs when they played rock, it was mainly glam/hair metal. I do have a few songs that kick in the old memory..

But it was geared toward females. The beginning of the end.

No care, Top 40 is still total crap

https://www.americantop40.com/charts/top-40-238/latest/

Classic Rock and Outlaw Country ( as in frick Nashville, not on the radio Aaron Lewis, Whiskey Myers, etc…) for me.
