I understand what you're saying, but it really depends on the situation.

Sometimes, it's best for everyone, even the kids, if the parents call it a day. My dad never cheated, but he was a mean alcoholic who terrorized the family after he drank.

Once that thing starts to itch it doesn't stop. Dude either sucks in bed and she wants another man or she wants another man.

As a fat married guy, you would be quote surprised how many cute women push the bounds of propriety.

Tastes havent changed as much for women, but 100lb spinners disproportionately love them some fat guys.

Same thing happened to a buddy of mine. I told him no way is she not screwing around. He was convinced she wasn't. It got to him and he checked her phone and sure enough there were text messages from another guy (that was in their group of friends). He kicked her out and hooked up with an old sweet heart.

My sex life has gone to shite since I got my dog. The wife kept insisting I get a dog since I'm home alone all day. So I got a Yorkie about a year and a half ago (he's big for a Yorkie - around 11 pounds so not one of those "toy" dogs). He's just like me - antisocial, moody, cranky, etc. But that lil fricker is my best bud. If my wife even walks near me and he thinks she's coming to kiss me goodbye or something, he jumps up on the recliner by me and goes totally apeshite - you'd think he's a rabid wolf. We made the mistake of letting him sleep with us from the start. If we lock him out the room, it's far too awkward and obvious to my kid that we're getting booty. But if I pen him up in the bathroom, it's cruel because he only gets penned when he's punished for something. And he's very sensitive. Plus it's creepy having him stare at us. If my wife goes chasing other dick, I can't really blame her. My dog has ruined my sex life, Dr. Phil...

Any dog under 30 lbs is a cat, and cats are pointless.

There's one of 3 things going on:

1. chemical / hormonal imbalance - See a doc

2. She's cheating - see a lawyer

3. He is not filling the masculine role properly and she has gone dry. If he's her best friend/shopping buddy or isn't clearly wearing the pants, these things happen. Time to make her feel like a girl by being a man. - see a mirror

Add depression to that list. People don't realize how many millions of Americans are on anti depressants which immensely affects your libido levels and overall mood.

Now, on the other hand, I have a female cousin who thinks sex is only for procreation. I have no idea how her husband deals with that, but they're mormons so....

We're Mormon. I've been married to my wife for 18 years. We have a 12, 8, and 5 year old. It is true that women sometimes lose interest, but sometimes so do the men. There are times when I can't get enough. There are times where I could take it or leave it. Everybody ebbs and flows like that. As far as Mormons who think sex is just for procreation, sure, they exist, but I'd argue most are not that way at all. My wife isn't.

You can help yourself by keeping yourself fit. I attribute our ongoing sex life to the fact that we're both in shape and work out.

As far as just having sex out of duty, I can't think of anything more unappealing than having sex with a woman who is doing it out of duty. I'd rather go without than have duty sex. Either have sex with me because you're attracted to me and in the mood, or don't bother.

I'd also recommend checking out the birth control your wives are on. Some of those hormonal birth control methods (which is about 95 percent of them) can really jack up a woman's libido.

I definitely wouldn't just settle for the no sex. There's almost certainly something else behind it whether it be she's really not in love with him anymore/possibly looking elsewhere or she has something medical going on that's killing her sex drive.

I'd say it's likely since they have been married that long and have three kids, that it may be medical. I wonder if she's going through menopause because that can definitely have an effect on sex drive for women. Or if she has some medical issues/pelvic pain stemming from having kids.

At the very least if I was him I'd be looking in either couple's counseling and/or sitting down with her OB/GYN to see if it's a medical issue.

i actually had a beer last night with a friend of mine that has left his wife for a side piece. We're both pretty involved in the Church so it kinda shocked all of us. He cut off all of his friendships for the most part, so i was surprised that he agreed to meet.

Based on his explanation, it was entirely due to no sex in the marriage, or the bare minimum at best. Said on his honeymoon his wife said "let's get this over with." then that was her attitude the rest of the marriage.

now he's a shithead. 100% and he knows it, but if his explanation is true, you kinda empathize a bit because as bad of dry spells in my marriage as i've had, his sounded pretty bad.

If he's respecting her wish to not have sex, she should respect his decision to frick another woman. Plain and simple.
