I quit about years ago. The physical part is over after about 3 days then the mental fight gets tough. Breaking all you old tendencies. Bananas can help with cravings & are a good snack. Good luck.

It's still nicotine, but zyn is better than any lozenges or dipping tobacco out there for anyone looking to quit the tobacco. Only time dipping gets the nod is when fishing/hunting/sports

I quit vaping 5 weeks ago cold turkey, haven’t had a puff since. It’s fricking miserable not having it when I drink as it goes hand in hand with a beer. It actually has made me quit drinking as much since I don’t really even want to without being able to vape while doing it

Let your nuts hang and go cold turkey. Learn to experience the pain non-judgementally.

This is the best way!

Been using Zyn’s, they’re great but I’m just addicted to those now instead of cigs. Still better than smoking though.

They’re tobacco free nicotine pouches you put in your gum.

Wellbutrin 300 mg did the trick for me.

Seriously. Get your doc to prescribe this, even if other things seem to be working.

Mine prescribed it when I wanted to get off my ADD medication. Literally one dose and didn't even crave to dip/smoke after that. More than that, you won't want to.

I wasn't even trying to quit.

Why are you worried about nicotine? Smoking is one thing, but nicotine in and of itself is not bad.

Nicotine itself? In comparison to caffeine? In comparison to seed oils and the other food additives that you likely consume everyday? Meh.

Exactly. It’s very low on the list of bad shite that gets put into human bodies. Compared to alcohol, it’s a dream drug.

It took me longer to quit chewing nicotine gum than it did to throw away the dip

Because nicotine constricts or narrows blood vessels. Also moderate drinking has some benefits too. There is plenty research from stanford and to just use the google machine that you can find on both these topics. You mention propaganda, believe me, I want to find some study that verifies what you are saying but there isnt one

I also know I feel better dropping the stuff

Used this and the nicotine gum to quit over 15yrs ago. It's hard, but you'll feel so much better when you finally quit.

I switched to Juul, and haven't smoked a cigarette in 5 years. Now I'm on the Vuse vapes because they're more cost efficient, but damn i'm addicted to these things. So hard to quit. I could quit drinking and smoking pot with ease, but these fkn vapes are so tough

Yep. Go Cold turkey. It sucks. Go for long run/ walk when the cravings hit.

I smoked for 30 years+. I tried everything, patches, gum. Vaping wasn't available then.
One morning I woke up coughing and hacking,,said F this, threw the cigs. away and never went back. `
