Adults who are willing to blow Weinstein for a job don't get my sympathy.
A child who is trying to live up to the expectations of an abusive mother gets my sympathy.
A child who is taken advantage of by a person in a position of power, who is supposed to be trusted gets my sympathy.
To the people saying "why didn't she say it earlier?"
she was a child. Children are scared. Children do not understand the enormity of it all. She says that it's taken her a lot of therapy to be brave enough to speak out.

Never forget Shirley Temple over 30 years ago did an interview. She said at 11 she had a meeting at MGM. The movie producer took his pants off in front of her and pulled it out. She said she pointed At it and laughed until he left the room. She went back to Fox and never did acting with MGM after that. She said she at the time thought it was funny. She said she was so naive she didn't even realize this 60 year old man wanted to have sex with an 11 year old. I believe this was in the 1930s. So it's BEEN going on.

As has been said, you put up with it if you are an adult that has made a decision to do that. If you are a kid and someone is doing that BIG difference there don't you think? Not even remotely the same thing.
