I had an older Camry just show up in front my house one day a few years back. It sat there for a week. I called JPSO, gave them the license plate and they ran it. Turned out it was a friend of mines car which he sold it a few years prior and the owner never had the title changed.
I called him, told him what was going on, car was towed the next day...

Yeah, it was weird and a total coincidence. He said he sold it to someone, so I told him according to JPSO it was still in his name.
I think he contacted the guy, and I guess the guy had it towed. I imagine it broke down... I dunno, tow truck driver showed up and towed it off...
It was just weird, car shows up in front the house and sits there for a week. I imagine the dude broke down in the middle of the night.
I didn’t think you could sell a car without a title transfer first, but people do shady shite every day.
