If you don't know your history, you are doomed to repeat it.
Please, don't send your kids to any store to get stuff. It is best for only one to a maximum of two people per household to be out buying items of necessity.
At my job about 2 weeks ago, around 7 kids under 18, were coming in just to buy Gatorade and Candy. They came in at the same time every day for a whole week. The chances of getting COVID-19 or any other illness is higher, and specially since they didn't have any type of PPE. They didn't need to come in every day, they could have sent 1 person, to get all the possible items that they were going to consume in a week.
If you are a mother or a father, let's be smart about this, Y'all know better. Yesterday I had a kid in the store that his mother sent in, he didn't even know how to use the debit card.
Please, I know it's hard, but let's protect ourselves.
Also remember, Walgreens and CVS Pharmacy are PHARMACIES, which means that people mainly go in sick. So take your precautions before going in.

But sending kids to a store to get something reeks of self importance, regardless of what's going on. Also, kids don't give a frick if they are all up in your space.

My daughter has had a friend over all week and they go to the store at least once a day out of boredom to buy candy and other bullshite. I may start sending them twice daily.

When I visited my grandparents in Hammond I could run in and get my grandfather's cough medicine(Wild Turkey) and it was no big deal.

I don’t have kids, but I can see how sending a teenager down to the Circle K to buy some bullshite with his friends just to get them out of my house for a half hour would be worth it. I cannot imagine being in a house with kids that have nowhere to go for several months.

Mine had a huge back and forth this week starting with people or kids don’t need to be sitting/playing in sidewalks because walkers/runners have to get out in the street to go around them. WE NEED TO BE MORE AWARE OF OUR ACTIONS.
Then of course complaints about parking in driveways which block sidewalks forcing people crossing to both veer out in the street and avoid social distancing.
Then of course King Karen chimes in after seeing countless walkers/runners that don’t need to be out PERIOD esp without masks! STAY HOME!!!!!!!

Much like the tards on reddit, the tards on Nextdoor will not be satisfied until we are locked down for 7 years and everyone is on welfare. And if they see 2 or more kids riding their bikes, it's on.

I was sent a great Nextdoor email yesterday. A geezer lives on a cul de sac. He can see part of another street that is aboot 150 yds. away, if he stands in his backyard and looks left. Another geezer drives down this street and G1 says that G2 is doing 40 in a 20.
G1 saw G2 one day and followed him. He went to G2's house, one neighborhood over, and took pictures of the house and vehicle. He then posted them and told G2's name. Apparently, he tracked G2 to his MI residence and ascertained he is just a snowbird, here for the winter.
50 people began arguing about how fast G2 was really going, and if G1 should have posted his info.
Good times.
