Everything you are feeling for how the liberals are reacting there is exactly how the conservatives acted here after 9/11. There was no room for criticism in the days and weeks following 9/11.
I am only pointing this out to give your criticism some context. It is easy to stand on the outside and tell them to pump the brakes.
