I don’t know if it’s a good thing or bad thing, but it will lower the average IQ of the West and make life for the average Westerner more like life in those third world countries.
Our national soccer team will improve, though.

China scores high but they are some of the most uncreative people in modern society. Their skill is theft of intellectual property. They can't invent shite but they are very good a copying IP.

My hypothesis is due to seasons. The equator does not have seasons. Food resources are pretty much available all year. In the far northern and southern hemispheres (which there is not much on the far southern hemisphere) people are forced to plan for winters. Planning requires thinking. Those that did not plan died. Those that did plan perpetuated their genes.
