ADM's ranging from 5k all the way to 25k for a car with less horsepower than a V6 Shitstang

I can drive to Park Place Plano and get an RC-F for less than 58k right now...

Anyone who buys this car with an ADM is certified stupid.

This is gonna go the way of the stinger / nsx where the dealers mark it up a frickton and then wonder why sales are low.

You're not taking into account the resale value of the toyota.

I'm sure there will still be ADMs on standard models, but this is about the 1,500 launch editions they're producing.

Garbage engine garbage transmission.

Disagree?

Pump It up to a thousand horsepower and watch it shatter itself to bits.

B58 is actually a pretty good engine. However, this particular B58 is not the same version you find in a BMW.

Reading the Supra circle jerk forum, it seems all models in 2019 are ADM'ed minus a few dealerships who have policies in place that restrict it.

This car isn't even worth 55k it's priced at.

They won't drive the same.

That’s according to Motoring Research, which spoke to Tetsuya Tada, chief engineer of the GT86 and the upcoming Supra, at Le Mans. He said:

quote:

“Each company defined what we wanted and went from there. Both cars have completely different suspension and software calibration, for example.”

quote:

Tada also told the outlet that the new Supra will “be a pure sports car,” look the part and that comfort and practicality were barely considered. And that the big wing on the back will be a permanent fixture.

The Z4 will be a roadster, which means that it will be meant for very different things than a Supra, which has historically been a performance-oriented sports car. This confirmation from Tada is a good thing—you wouldn’t want your Supra driving like a convertible, would you?

MR also asked Tada about an even more performance-oriented, GRMN-badged version of the Supra, but he only smiled and gave the typical non-answer, which was saying he’d like to see something like that and that the company is “preparing for it.”

This. 335 hp and a 8-speed mush box?

I'll pass.

I mean, if it sells at the ADM values, it would appear it actually is worth that

Tada cock teased this car for 10 years (ok maybe 5).

By the time the GRMN version comes out everyone will be fapping about the LC-F and possibly the IS-F.

I can't really get mad about the stats for the new Supra. I never expected Toyota to make something that would directly compete with is Lexus F-series line.

The brand prestige of Toyota and maintenance costs of BMW, what could go wrong?

I get this argument, but the convertible in question is a Z4.

I think Supra is going to turn out to be this years flop. Toyota has been striking out in the performance market as of late.
