The earth is 6000 years old

Why haven’t they “evolved” to making better tools?
Something something white man.

Because these stone tools were most likely used and made by monkeys and not early humans as suggested. Many of the evolutionary evidence was based on these tools. So if these tools were not used by Humans, then it’s a false narrative.
Those monkeys are smarter than you.

Why are they still monkeys?

seems like Darwinian evolution has been under a lot of criticisms over the past several years. Its good because it should be challenged as much as possible.

Why?
Because that’s how science works. If you don’t question the science then believing in it is absolutely no different than having faith in a religious concept.

You don't believe the 100th monkey effect?

Because God did it is a much more plausible explanation than small changes over millions of years?

The real issue in evolution isn't the use of a primitive tool. Some birds use primitive tools also. The real issue is progressing these tools to the succeeding levels of refinement. I don’t think monkeys have done that.

OP was able to start this thread, so there is hope.

Why do you say that?
You think all ideas should be taken as a matter of fact?

The actual journal article is linked in the article from The Hill that the OP posted.
The researchers are saying that when these macaques use a rock to crack open a nut, the rock fractures creating stone flakes. These flakes are unintentionally made but resemble stone flakes that have been attributed to intentionally made, early human stone tools. They are saying it’s possible some of the stuff anthropologist have attributed to having been intentionally made by early humans were not made by humans at all, but other primates.
I’m not sure this really challenges evolution all that much, other than rightly calling into question some of our guesses when it comes to archeology and anthropology. The key thing is that stone flaking probably did start unintentionally, but humans took the next step and used the stone flakes as tools.

Primitive humans literally still use these tools

I think if God and the creation story is real, it’s probably simply that he created the world in the same form it would take if created naturally.
Just like he created Adam as a grown arse man. I doubt he formed Adam in an adult body, but with baby teeth.
As to the why would he do that? Because God created us with brains and the ability to figure out this world and make progress. Science has to make sense, and that requires a planet created through a natural process.

I feel like everyone who raises questions about the THEORY of evolution gets disparaged; in a way it’s similar to the woke tranny ideology.

Be a use identified theories should always be challenged rigorously. If still found as solid, unassailable ideas after that they become laws.

Because they haven’t needed to.
Evolution isn’t a progression to a “better.”
