I thought Space Force was a stupid concept and we were all supposed to laugh smugly at it, and watch sitcoms on Netflix lampooning it? What's changed?

They knew all along it was a good idea and important for the future. Just like how buying Greenland would be smart and a key strategic location in our dance with Russia but was laughed at by the NPCs.

I am notably skeptical of the concept of making the Air Force Space Command its own separate service branch, but I'll withhold absolute judgment until I see what exactly they are planning to do with it.
That being said, now that we're 1 year after the Space Force began recruiting their first enlisted personnel, I am curious as to what the numbers say. Are they getting the number of recruits they expected, more, or less?
