Funny how the homeless are recognized to be a blight and embarrassment on cities during major events, but otherwise they're just fine to be left to their own devices the rest of the year.
Keep an eye on the "in thing", it generally lasts as long.

There should be way more outrage about this.
What a blatant disregard for tax payers.

What did you say? It is “UNHOUSED” DAMN IT!

Yep. These problems can easily be remedied. You do not have a right to pollute public streets with your homelessness.

Can the state attorney look into this?

Wonder who gets that contract?
The contract went to The Workforce Group which is a subsidiary of The Lemoine Company. Seth Lemoin, the nephew of the brothers that own The Lemoine Company, is the one who runs The Workforce Group and is the step-son of Eddie Rispone…who was a large backer of Jeff Landry.
Never change, Louisiana.

If you “rehome” a homeless person, they aren’t homeless to begin with.

Send the money to Californian. Ship the people at our cost. They likely will stay there forever. WIN

I could have a couple wood chippers and a couple crews running 24/7 and I could solve the problem more permanently for about 10% of that.

If sweeping something under the rug needed a real life example..

Uhhh yea he probably did when he gave Jeff Landry the green light to do this

The homeless in NOLA should join together and form a team and revolt and break into the Super Bowl venue and watch the game from the sidelines

WFG is a solid outfit with years of experience in handling this kind of stuff in particular. If they’ve won the work it’s deserved, it’s a very competitive market and the vast majority of it goes to bid regardless of who is involved.

Big Government Jeff Landry!

Why? They need to go away.

To where?
Mass graves is the only option that doesn’t tax communities in one way or the other.
It’s a tough spot to be in with so many wayward people. No real downside to tucking them even if just temporarily.
