New Orleans or Atlanta

Which would you rather live in? Cousin has option of moving to either for his job. Currently lives in lake charles


I prefer New Orleans. Went to atlanta recently and wasn't impressed

I'd pick New Orleans but my reason would be because it's closer to home. If they were both 2 hrs from where I grew up I'd pick Atlanta

It's also better located for other interesting cities, recreation, and jobs. Much better suburbs.

Face it, Atlanta has issues, but it's a relevant major city in an increasingly relevant and major state. I probably won't stay in Atlanta, but I think most people would choose it over New Orleans to live long term.
