I’m not one of them as we’ve been all over but I do know people who fall into this group.

The true decent traditional New Orleans cooking is in Jefferson for the most part.
Wtf?
You’re gonna have to expound on that hot take.
Anecdotal, I grabbed a marg to go from Superior yesterday. Bar tender said they were slammed Friday night and they did check for vaccine cards/negative tests.
But yes, Katie’s and Clesi’s are slow so all restaurant in NOLA are inevitably going to close or move to the culinary utopia that is Jefferson Parish within a month.

Nobody can out-do a Parkway Bakery poboy, Central Grocery muffaletta, or a Brocatto anything.

Think you may see more of the tourist places struggle and not the local places. If the city adults are 80% vaxxed then most probably don't have a problem showing their card.

Destroya is the best at failing to pay taxes and destroying a city

JP has some good traditional restaurants, but so does NOLA. Not sure why he thinks there are none left in the city.

I do enjoy this and ate it often in the DC area, the one time I went to Cafe Abyssinia on Magazine I used my credit card which I rarely do, and wound up having my credit card number stolen.

As a whole Jefferson has better Italian, Mexican, Vietnamese and pretty much any other south or Central American cuisine than Nola does. Nola blows the doors off of Jefferson in fine dining, modern and celebrity chefs, but to say Jefferson is a dining black hole is disingenuous and flat out wrong

Those shitting on JP food scene have no idea what they are talking about.

Everything we have come to hate about New Orleans is because of woke white liberals like Lester Earl. I’m ashamed to have sold him Hornets tickets back in 2008, but I honestly had no idea

Why would you hurt the restaurants for something completely out of their control?

Harahan is home to the best Italian restaurant, the best BBQ restaurant, the best Vietnamese restaurant, and the best seafood restaurant in Jefferson parish

The ones with the preachy left wing owners kinda deserve it imo
