New Orleans neighborhood question

I am going to a high school football game in New Orleans. The location is on Read Blvd at a place called Victory field.
Is this a safe location?

Karr at Carver? That's at Victory Field in Joe Brown Park
I'm sure there will be cops there lol... Never had a problem at any other NOLA venue I've been to
While we're mentioning Carver, lets ask what happened to the field they were supposedly raising money to build... Looking on Google maps there's nothing there and the groundbreaking was in 2015

That Google Maps image still has the school under construction. They've been in the new building for at least a year. The street map view has the school up but I don't see a stadium yet.
