Almost like if they put effort in, they can make the city better. Unfortunate they only do it for the Super Bowl.
Amazing if they did this full time and elected leaders who lead with this culture, Orleans would have 10 Fortune 500 companies, 750,000 residents and elite public education.
2 weeks after this game, the shitshow will return.

but isn’t the most prevalent story about the weekend so far about a woman drugging and a sports reporter and him dying?
That’s the one and only negative story so far and we don’t know if he took some bad stuff or was drugged by that fat cow.

I have traveled to several European cities and it is not uncommon to see heavy armed/military presence, especially at airports, etc.
Took me a bit to get used to but just seemed to be another day in paradise for the locals.

Nothing says Home quite like soldiers LARPing in the commercial epicenter of your city

it shouldn't take the fricking super bowl to clean up the city

The NFL, city and state poured money into this event.
It's amazing what a city/state can do when there is an investment into the well-being of that entity.
Voting is important.

NOLA did a great job for Wrestlemania 30, whole town was into it all week leading up to it - Dome, Arena, Convention Center, and multiple WWE events all over the city as well as other smaller venues for independent wrestling shows. I had an absolute blast and will be going back down there for Wrestlemania 42 if the rumors are true.

Dude, this city has handled more superbowls than anyone by a long shot. We do Mardi Gras every year. They better handle it well.

There will be blood. Have you seen Philly fans in public?
Yeah somehow I’m thinking none of those types will be attending the Super Bowl.
