You’re telling me that the city with the falling down building in down town with a deadman’s feet sticking out isn’t handling this correctly??
Ok this makes up for a least a third of your terrible threads

This is going to sound stupid, but this disease isn't lethal enough for me to think the authorities should be going through such extreme measures.
I said basically this and got yelled at that we should just shut the frick up and comply because if we don’t the government will just make our lives worse

That same bar is going to be packed as frick again on Tuesday so the bros can stick it to Destroya once more. They've been pimping their tuesday party on social media.
I’d bet it won’t even be open.

There’s was no way NOLA was coming out of Mardi Gras unscathed, zero chance.

yeah i agree. i just think she needs to address her own constituency and not punt to JBE
What makes you think she didn’t?

Latoya actually did exactly what anyone in her position should have done today.
Ramble about Mardi Gras Indians and the praise people for avoiding a park where more people have died from gunshots than viruses so far this year?

earlier you posted about some elderly family
how would you feel if one develops a non-COVID condition that requires ER care and they don't have a bed b/c the same idiots flaunting the "nice" request are now flooding the ERs across the area?

Why would a state wide order go out if NOLA is having the severe problems?

Cliffs on what happened this week to have everyone upset with new orleans?

Considering the rest of the state without New Orleans is basically Arkansas...

I don't think that sounds stupid at all. That's basically what's been reported and likely the case.
But when it comes to things like a new, possibly deadly virus making the rounds and being highly contagious I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I’d feel angry. And sad.
But worrying about my elderly grandparents is not nearly enough to get me to support massive government overreach and suspension of the bill of rights.

And I'm betting plenty of virus was spread on this day.

Not until tomorrow.

whats these stats in Nola that make you feel this way?
just look at the daily increases. when we actually get testing, it's going to exponentially increase and then go back to a normal scale (with a larger base). LA went from 0 cases to one of the largest per capita states in like 3 days
NOLA has the bulk of the positives in La, and it's not centered around a nursing home anymore. It's becoming younger, socially interactive people now.
