Troop NOLA, with its 40 officers cannot account for this. Certainly it helps. But it is more about the change in approach to juvenile crime in the DA’s office.

Saints football winning. Seriously.

Go read the record level stats from Detroit last year when they made the playoffs. Lowest murder totals since, well, the last time they made the playoffs 60 years earlier.

Murders happen over the simplest conflicts some times. When the football team’s winning, certain cultures let it slide.

for about 5 years you couldn’t have someone cited for jaywalking in New Orleans without someone running there to post about it and the lawless Nola cesspool.

Crime drops and you don’t hear a peep.

Meanwhile, murders are on the rise in the immediate surrounding areas…..just across the Parish lines.

So you're upset the city is "improving" from 2nd to 10th most murder friendly city in the country and no one is talking about it.

Got it

Jesus, how low does your floor have to be for this to be an accomplishment?

Everyone knows the sheriff is coming back to town. The felonious, bullet dodging Don has infinite street cred and respek from the underbelly of society these days.

Meanwhile, Tokyo, with 50X the population of New Orleans, has gone about 18 months without a murder.
