With the grey wave design, too.
I like the Dupree era wave on the helmet more than the Portland with the black.
I couldn't tell you that much detail. I just know they were pretty much the exact same design. if there were a couple of tweaks I will take your word for it.

And the league is hoping ownership will materialize for each of the other cities. New Orleans is just aspirational at this point.

I will never understand putting these expansion football leagues in cities with nfl teams

quote:The one year the Breakers were in New Orleans they got pretty good crowds. It was a long time ago but from what I recall attendance wasn't the biggest issue with the USFL. It was Trump pushing the move to the fall and to compete with the NFL. Could they have sustained long term success in the spring? Hard to say but I think their chances were better of that. Moving to the fall was suicide.

Love the unis and helmets.
I actually went to some Breakers game in the Superdome and will definitely go see this team play in 2023 if they survive the first year in Alabama

I remember reading about Marcus Dupree in the times picayune when he was in high school. It was papers and word of mouth that the word got out about this phenomenon in a Philadelphia MS
