I forgot what issue the Yankee progressives are holding us all hostage for this time. Why are they blocking funding for DHS and TSA?

Because ICE is getting rid of their voters.

All this because Democrats are sky screaming about something. And it extends to other homeland security stuff….at a time when terror thread is actually increasing.

I think I have to support this if the sick out is the will of God.
Probably why it happened to historically gay New Orleans.

Currently in this cluster F. There is no such thing as priority, pre check, or any of that. Two lines. One for Clear, and one for everyone else. The Clear line begins on the level where you check bags goes all the way to the end opposite the parking garage then into the parking garage, then makes a loop around the garage on level four, then back into the terminal to the top of the escalators. Everyone else goes to the elevator and sent down to ground level where the line snakes around two levels of parking garage and then back into the terminal by baggage claim for some more snakes, then over to the normal serpentine to get screened by what appears to be two agents. I have been in the clear line now for one hour and moved half the terminal building. Still have the garage and back into the terminal portion to deal with. JP officers are telling people now that if your flight is before 4pm and you are just now getting in line you will not make it. Gate agents while checking bags said most of their fleet is leaving with about 50% passenger load. The worst part is those that checked bags they are gone, so missed flight and lost luggage. It really is quite bad right now. I have a flight at 3 so kind of hopefull I will make it, and if not there is another plane out at 8pm. Guess will update as things happen

Missed flight and no bags… that’ll compound your Sunday hangover.

Just made it through security. I’m glad I saw this thread and decided to leave early than intended.
The line is (was) out of the terminal and wrapped around the parking lot a couple of times over. The good news is it appears they increased the staff, so things moved pretty quickly all things considered. I would budget at least two hours to get through security

Why is NOLA and Atlanta so bad when Houston and Dallas seem to have no issues?

I’ll be there tomorrow- I’ll just get there early. Lazy TSA agents and politicians can not stop me from getting my work done. frick ‘em!

No relevance at all. Just a random statement that has nothing to do with anything.

Guess I’ll get there at 2:00 for my 7:00 flight

Congressional democrats are refusing to fund the DHS and TSA specifically.

Not a bad idea, two hours in line and still have not gone downstairs yet. I can see the escalators, so getting close. I will say that where I joined the end of the line has now grown and made a wrap around the other side of the terminal

Trump’s America! Another big win!
I think Project 2025 calls for the privatization of TSA. It would explain Republicans not wanting to fund it.

FFS.
So it doesn't even really matter if you pay the premium for CLEAR? What's the fricking point?
