And you would want a corvette over this?

No thanks.

What we’re about to drive is a distillation of Honda’s inner feelings at this moment. After some dark years of uncertainty, the company is ruminating on past glories, on Marlboro McLarens with Ayrton and Alain, racing bikes with oval pistons, and absurdly exquisite lawn equipment. Honda wants to be spoken of with awe again, to show the world that it’s back as a technology and performance powerhouse ready to both amaze the world and till its flowerbeds.

Honda does make a damn fine small engine.

Acura?

Acura is Honda's North American luxury line. In Japan, and every other places in the world, all Honda cars are badged under Honda. There is no Acura.

This is an acura-te statement.

In Japanese culture, it's a non sequitur to have two names (brands) for a manufacturer's products.

Late night bump. I would take a used Turbo s for 90k. I just listed much cheaper cars that perform just as well

$155K is kinda spendy for what it is.

Lots of HP, but pretty high up in the rev band.

IDK, I liked the bulletproof drivetrain in the old NSX's, but I'm not sure that this car is gonna be a hit. I like Jag's AWD a lot more as this just seems more complex than it needs to be.

The first drive reviews have not been too kind to the new NSX. I absolutely love the way it looks though.

I'm guessing they're bitching about the power coming on late and the weight at the corners.

Bingo!

Dang, another " everyday supercar" from Honda.

Sounds like too much compromise...

Came to post the R&T review.

I have a good friend that is a NSX collector. The Nakano/Uehara era will never be matched again. They made "balance" a world changing automotive term.

It's cool, but who in the world would drop $150k on an Acura? Especially if it's badged as a honda?
Same people who dropped $80+ on the other one in the 90's.

I'd probably just rather have a lightly used GT-R and upgrade it to maybe 800whp and put the extra 40k in the bank.

The original NSX from 91 was GOAT car. This is a fricking machine. Can't wait to finish school and buy a used 2003-2005 one.

In the US it has always been branded the Acura NSX.

And for boats too. Knew a guy that had an outboard on an old aluminium boat we would take catfishing sometimes and I don't think it ever took more than one pull to start it. Plus it was quiet as a mouse.
