I don't like anything at all touching my eyes. Freaks me out. However, I had cataract lens replacement surgery on both eyes. While certainly not a guinea pig, to say I was scared as shite during the first eye surgery is the understatement of the century. Takes a lot of trust for sure. Fear wasn't bad during the second eye surgery but that doesn't negate the initial fear of the first surgery.

Are you happy with the results and which lens did you get?

It's all in the fine print, which creates quite an ironic quandary here, given the target market for these drops.

$80/mo for the drops or $5 for a pair of readers from the dollar store.

Lasik has been around for decades and I’m still terrified of the idea. I’ll stick to contacts for now.

I'm in the same boat. My wife wants me to get Lasik but I'm perfectly fine with sticking contacts in my eyes every morning.

Just to reassure you, I had it done in 2003. Painless, and my vision has held up for 18 years. I imagine the procedure is even better now.

I know it’s safe, yada yada yada, but the idea of shooting lasers in my eyes and me having to keep my eye super still in the process just freaks me out. How did they prevent you from moving your eye?

You think $80 a month is cheap? Do you know how many pairs of reading glasses I can buy for $80?

80 per month is cheap for eye drops that do the same thing as $2 reading glasses?

That’s what I’m thinking. I pay $4/month for vision insurance and get a new pair of glasses valued at $300 yearly. I’ll stick with my reading glasses.

30-day supply of the drug will cost about $80 and works best in people 40 to 55 years old,
A 3-year supply of reading glasses cost about $80.

For a brand new FDA approved medication that’s about to hit the market for a month supply of it .

Yes that’s very cheap in that circumstance considering how expensive most all brand new eye drops are.

Numbing drops and xanax for relaxation. It only lasts a few seconds per eye. I think mine was 7 seconds, and holding still wasn't a real big issue for me. Worst part to me was definitely the smell. Smelled like somebody threw a match on a pile of hair

Will this work for someone who wears contacts/glasses? Reading smaller things up close has become a challenge for me but I need my contacts or glasses to see anything a couple of feet away and further.

Is it developed by the same people who created the Wuhan Flu vaccine?

I talked to my eye doctor about this last week.

It’s nkt a new drug. It’s been tweaked and is what they use to treat glaucoma. She’s not super excited about it. It constricts pupils and is concerned about a good eye exam due to that. (I hope that I got that all right)

There are other up and coming meds that she is excited about but says that they need time to be studied. What a novel idea.
