Tried it last week and it was powdered and terrible imo

I tried it and loved it. Seems like everyone you ask either loves Dave’s or hates it. I can definitely understand both.

Don’t go to a hot chicken joint if you don’t like hot chicken. There’s a hot chicken place down Staring that’s just as good but half the price.

Southern Chicks on Florida Blvd is also very good

The wife and stop by the Southern Chicks in New Roads now and then. Not a single "fast food culture" worker in sight. And very good chicken

Prince's in Nashville has been going strong since 1930s. Hattie B's is closed to 20 years now I think. The OGs ain't going anywhere, but some of these new ones probably will.

Traffic backed up a mile of people trying to get in there.

Why people get so wound up over what has become possibly the most boring food option you can get is beyond me. It is fried fricking chicken. There cannot be anything special about it that hasn't been done 100,000 times before.

It’s awesome. I’m eating some right now. Always stop by one in Many when coming to camp. I’ll wait a few weeks/months for that one to settle down.

“BR loses its collective mind over the introduction of any new fast food restaraunt.”

Same for Alex-Pineville.It’s bizarre.
I guess it’s because it’s so boring around here, not much else to get excited about.

Dunkin’ Donuts was the hardest “grand opening, grand closing” crash of all time

Dunkin is exceptionally disappointing though. I wonder if the people who like even know what good coffee or good donuts are.

That's a legit good restaurant. Not the friendliest but they are very good and efficient.

Every Chick Fil A opening or In N Out opening has to involve police to direct traffic. It's not unique to Louisiana.
