professional would make them think that.
A pro wouldn't make mistakes that leave a trail.
You could make 4D chess type mistakes, of course. Just not ones that would help the cops find you.

A revolver and it takes the brass with you
Yep whatever he was using it was a jam-o-matic
Pro would have fired one round point blank in the back of his head.
Damn sure would not have shot him in lower leg !!!

Pro or not, does it matter? He disappeared into a city of millions and as of now has vanished. If his fingerprints or DNA weren’t in the system, then good luck catching him. Tomorrow could start a new day for him like today never happened, as long as he doesn’t get arrested later on.

Not sure why folks are having such a hard time understanding this.
A pro would’ve walked up close behind him, put one shot in the back of his skull, and kept walking.

UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was facing DOJ probe for insider trading when he was killed in targeted NYC shooting
Did Alex Jones/the Media make a mistake here?
In Nov. a banking examiner for the Federal Reserve (Richmond) named Richard Brian Thompson was charged with insider trading.
Are they confusing the two Brian Thompsons?
* Never mind banking regulators at the Federal Reserve getting charged by the DOJ should make the front page of new by the way.

This is so extremely rare in high profile incidents, though.
The amount of passive information gathering in America is horrifying (and amazing when used for these scenarios). With AI being harnessed, I suspect that in the future the ability to process all of this information will become even more effective.
It'll be a massive story unto itself if he's not identified in a week. What's the last high profile murder/manhunt that remained unsolved for a long period?

Right. A pro would not shoot someone in the leg from 10 feet on camera. Semi-pro is right. Definitely hired. A pro would have shot him once in the back of the head.

OJ, but that truth might be finally coming out, or the child from Colorado. What I’m trying to say is that a normal person that’s never had any interaction with law enforcement on any level, has a good chance to get away with murder if they were smart about it and kept quit about it.
