Theres a brewery in my town that I believe the owners are conservative but they put forth a mostly neutral front because they try to attract a lot of the folks passing through. And those folks aren't conservative.

Most of the ones here in Birmingham are seem politically neutral for the most part. Trim Tab is the only one I can think of that this board would label "woke." All the downtown ones were pretty strict with mask wearing though, so by that measure they're all "woke" by this board's standards.

Ok, let's do this.

You see, climate change is caused by the policies set forth in western democracies. Western democracies were overwhelmingly established by white men, therefore all policies from western democracies are inherently racist and a clear example of systemic racism. By creating this beer New Belgium is fighting back against climate change, and therefore systemic racism. They are now therefore Woke.

You're welcome. Now I'm going to go cancel myself for whitesplaining to you.

You mean Yeungling or the brewery you mentioned? Does this other brewery have a bunch of MAGA beers and stuff?

Yeungling....sorry for not being specific.

Eta....my local brewery would be done if they said anything the least bit conservative.

I like Voodoo Ranger Imperial IPA. I will continue to drink it when I can't find Lagunitas Maximus.

That's crazy, I never saw any outward MAGA stuff or even mentioning their political leanings. I still love the beer though.

One of America’s wealthiest beermakers is in hot water after voicing support for Donald Trump. We need him in there.”

Besides this I haven't heard anything. However, I also don't pay attention that much. I'm pretty positive I saw it posted here.

I've never had it. I've meant to try it. I'll see if I can find it in FL soon.

I never saw that. But it doesn't surprise me. That area seems pretty conservative.

I do the same. IMO freshness matters with beer and local beers are usually fresher.

I'm giving the climate freaks the benefit of the doubt. Assuming they are correct, agriculture would improve.

You never seen any discussion about the BENEFITS of global warming.

Regardless of your opinion, there are benefits.

Climate change will be GREAT for the beer industry.

More CO2, warmer temperatures, less freezing weather, thirstier humans, etc.

It’s long overdue for conservatives to take over the craft beer market and start marketing really good craft beer without all the superlatives. Just make solid beer, do seasonals, and do it well without all the liberal mission statement crap.

Truth is, liberals do make good craft beer. It’s just their world view and political and social preaching that we can all do without.

They probably just brewed a shitty beer and was looking for a marketing gimmick to unload it without having to dump it.

Possibly. But they better be careful. Marketing ploys can get away with "puffery" - this is the most comfortable bed you will ever sleep on! But companies that manufacture consumables and medicines are held to very strict standards in terms of what they claim their products contain. If you advertise it as Gluten Free or 150% of your daily calcium requirements, then that better be true or they are coming down on you with both feet.

Would be finny if someone actually tested and analyzed this batch of beer to see if their apocalyptic ingredients were true.
