I have done all of it. I'm just 41.

I worked at a video store in the 90's and remember the VHS to DVD transition. The owners thought it was stupid and didn't invest much in having DVDs. I remember rewinding those tapes and calling people to hassle them about late fees.

Typing a few things in elementary school for “homework”

Computers in elementary schools back then were for number munchers and Oregon trail, not word processing.

People who were kids in the 80s like me used rotary phones and typewriters at the homes of our grandmothers and also had MySpace accounts in our 20s.

Never had an AOL email address or a MySpace acount.

But have done a lot of these in the past month or so (CD, vinyl, check, dictionary, encyclopedia, phone book, paper map, maybe others). I still regularly get faxes but haven’t sent one in a few years.

Am I a boomer? Most of this stuff was still around into my teenage years.

I sent a fax yesterday and received several this week. They're more secure than email.
