Seriously, it's not going to be long before the hard working, tax paying people stop busting arse and sacrificing to get ahead, while these people party and leach off the system.
I do wonder if this will happen soon. How much longer can hard working tax paying citizens watch this stupidity unfold and realize they are funding it and decide to stop.

They are retiring every day. Being replaced with those that do not want work as hard. And behind them, those that dont want to work at all.
BTW, the mantra of taxing the 1 percent a 90 percent tax rate is not really the thing. Its only a start in their eyes. What they really want is confiscation and redistribution. As she demonstrated most dont even realize the implications of their demands.
Either way the cancer is spreading.

Around 60 years ago Kruschev said that the USSR would take over America without firing a shot. Maybe we should be taking that threat a little more seriously.

Probably not twice if she's in college now. She was about to point the finger at the bailout in 2008. Who does she think came up with that idea?

I am 52 years old and I am literally grinding with my head down working as hard as I can to generate enough cash to get out of this as soon as I possibly can.
I would suggest to anyone that if they can make cash deals on any type business or project do it and hide it. Dig a hole, put in a mattress, safe deposit box anywhere you can.
I'm not a doomsday guy but each and everyday I get a bit more concerned.

Love this. Using arbitrary numbers like percent this and percent that vs. hard numbers with actual values assigned can put people into their place.

Fox News guy uses the average income tax % to prove his case while the closer you get to the actual top of the 1% the income tax is in the 18-23% range. So he's halfway telling the truth. The net incomes would not reach 1 trillion but his blanket percentages are off base, particularly to those that could make an actual dent by being taxed at the rate he claims.
The real difference is in net worth among the 1% and the 99%. It's astronomical. She's going about it the wrong way if she just wants to tax annual income. Things like inheritance taxes on the upper escelon. If she wants the wealthy to redistrubute, that's where she needs to start.
None of this represents my view on what's going on. Quit being such sheep and believing every right wing mouthpiece as gospel. They contour their facts to placate their position just like anyone else. That woman is still in way over her head. She knows about as much as I do and worse doesn't appear to be making any attempt at educating herself on reality. I know more than her on the topic by reading Forbes for a freaking hour. She's a joke.

15 dollars an hour for college student workers. GTFO. I worked for minimum wage when I was in college on the grounds crew and loved every minute of it.

I could care less about any of the numbers. This is where her argument begins and ends for me.
She wants a free handout from the wealthy because.........why? She's lazy? Entitled?

Well, the top income tax rate is 39.6%. If your're receiving a paycheck, that's the tax rate. If your income is from capital gains I believe the top rate is around 20%. Then there's state taxes, property taxes and consumption taxes, etc. shite adds up.

Cavuto is probably the smartest guy on both FNC and FBC, so she picked the wrong guy to talk to

Spot on - most people at that level are generating interest, dividends and capital gains as their income streams. Doubt that very few of them are W2 workers.
I see in my lifetime that there will be redistribution of wealth from grabs at family estates...I not talking about just cash...I am talk about revenue producing trust holding...and land. And that should scare the minimum wage worker and the top 1 percent.
I work to make rich people richer...I work damn hard at it...and they compensate me well for my efforts. I need rich people so I can try to build my financial future for my family.

I went to college so that I could one day make as much money as possible (turns out, not all that much in my case).
So now college students want to make financial success as undesirable as possible.
Far out.

I don't think she actually understands how numbers work. Talking points are neat and snazzy, but rarely do they ever work

That's called struggling middle class. With her school costing that much, I'm guessing she either got a scholarship or her parents make $350k+ per year
