Y'all should have just handled it between each other....the neighbor seemed reasonable.

I really can't go much farther in this thread - the OP is a fricking idiot. Any person who breaks up a dog fight with their hands shouldn't own dogs. Also, anyone who is shocked or surprised that dogs fight one another shouldn't own dogs.
Dog's don't function by the same sets of norms and mores as do humans. Geesh.
