I've cut my grass after dark, but I use one of these.

They always say on the news to cut grass late to help with the ozone

Any benefits of using that thing?

So? It's not even 9 pm.
Again though, OP is dumb.

You people live too close to your neighbor if them cutting the grass bothers you so much. I’ve never been bothered by a neighbor cutting his yard
Also kids in bed before 9? Wtf

Reel mowers provide a cleaner cut on the grass blade. It keeps the grass healthier and makes the lawn look better.

Ive posted this before on this site. My neighbor cuts at 9pm+. He cuts with a push mower yet has a working riding mower he makes me tell everyone is broken down. Ive offered my riding mower and to cut his grass for him. He sternly refuses and continues to take 1.5hrs to push almost twice a week.
His reason? He works till 6pm, sits down with his 7 grandkids his retired wife watches during summer, then after dinner he gets TF out of the house.
Ive shared a few beers with him Ive snuck over our fence and we practically have a Tim Taylor and Wilson relationship.

Had a neighbor call the cops on my then middle school aged kids because they were playing outside after dark during the summer.
We've allowed our dog to crap on his lawn ever since.

Oh STFU will you.
You really think I don't know that young children go to bed early? That I have to be a parent to understand BASIC frickING COMMON SENSE.
Still doesn't change the fact...that's it not even 9 pm. Neighbor is well within his right to mow the grass at that time.

I don't think my daughter went to bed earlier than 8:30 past about the age of 1.

Hell my 6 year old and 2 year old complain when I force them to go to bed at 9.

absolutely not. People are up at 7 am on a weekday. 9pm is time to settle down.

What's funny about this? Any parent with kids in school knows how ridiculously early they start. Bedtime isn't at midnight.
