100% depends on the type of dryer. Each brand has their own way of doing it.
Frigidaire = rear bearing
Whirlpool = roller bearings
Ge = front slides
Samsung = pulley.
Whatever your brand is the equals points to the most common cause for noise.

Fridge?
Man if unplugging and plugging back in did anything to your fridge you have an issue.
Either a failing relay or a bad control timer.
Unplugging any electronic resets it.

Last resort, drag the thing outside and put the blower/air compressor to it. Blow out the control panel especially well. If there is a sufficient leak in the blower system it can truly coat the control panel with heavy lint. Worked for mine.

If it's an electric dryer IT CANNOT be on the same breaker as the washer.
There should be a double 30 amp breaker for the dryer.
It is very possible that one leg of the circuit is bad.
In fact because you thought it was the same breaker, I'm convinced you're problem is the breaker. That model has no belt switch.
Check voltage at the outlet. Everyone should have a voltage tester. If not harbor freight $5. If you call a service tech and it's the breaker you'll pay a service fee and he can't fix it. So you'll pay $80 for someone to say "call an electrician "
I see half failed double breakers at least once a month. Always the cheap GE breakers to.

If you do need a repairman go with Sherwood TV and Appliance on Florida.

Turned out to be the plastic catch when you close the door. Replaced therma fuse and switch, no dice. Plastic tab was broken. Dryer won't work at all if it thinks door is open.

I got one that I can’t break. Been after the wife to buy a new one because the drum is making a noise like a pack of bearings are rolling around in it. Tried telling her that if she keeps running it like this that she will burn the house down. Finally agreed to get one this weekend
