find the branch he works at, fly out there and in the shift casually make one turn to the left on all 4 schrader valves on all the cars in the lot. Every's going to have a really, really shitty day about 6 or 8 hours later.

Is it possible that he could have been smart enough not to use his own address for shipping? Food for thought before you shite in a bag and light it on fire.
I would just be thankful that you are able to get your credit straightened out. Credit card fraud seems to be almost inevitable these days. Where these things can really cost you is when you go to buy a house or a car and can't get the best rates.

A similar thing happened to me with a card I got from Sears (bought a washer/dryer and fridge, got 0% interest over a year doing it this way). With this in mind, I NEVER used the card for anything else! When I was near the last month or so, I checked my balance and it was waaaaaaay higher than it should have been. I looked into it and there is a $500 charge for something from "Samsung". Called Sears and they were all on my side and said they would take care of it. A few weeks later I get something in the mail that says they've done their investigation and decided that I made the charge. I lost my shite the moment I read this, I was livid!!! Worst part was, it was a Saturday, so there was no one on their end that I could talk to until Monday morning. In all of this paperwork was info that showed that the item in question (still to this day, I don't know what was purchased for $500), shipped to somewhere in Shreveport (I'm in BR)...you can change your shipping location via UPS.com. This is a great way for the scammers to get you, as they had originally sent it to my actual address...but, changed it to this Shreveport scam location while in transit. Needless to say, the Sears people finally got it and they re-removed the charge from account. I'm 90% that someone as Sears is the one that did this too...like I said, I never used the card outside of the initial purchase. There's a very limited amount of ways that this could have happened then....
OP, just stay on them and they will eventually take it all off for you. The shipping switch (no pun intended), is what they more than likely did to you. They said that all the info was going to go to the police and they would handle...but, I'm sure none of that ever too place.

Sounds like it should be pretty easy to tell Citi you want to press charges against that person. How can they accuse you of fraud on your end if you're pressing charges on the culprit?
Also, frick Citi. Anti-American bastards. My Citi card sits locked in my safe and won't be used again. Only reason I didn't cancel it and cut it up was because its beneficial to my credick score to just leave it open.

Do you know who he is?
It kind of sounds like someone stole your credit card and purchased something and you know this person.

I suspect my Citi info was hacked via Home Depot. Seriously they are the worst. They are the reason my work CC has been compromised twice. I only use my work CC at Home Depot and hotels. ANYWAYS...
I do not know this person. He used his name and my billing address, but another, different shipping address.
Citi credited my account, but I spent 40 minutes on the phone today pleading my case but they seemed to understand what was going on. The letter I received today included an internal Best Buy audit, where they tried to prove via multiple sources of documentation (his email, address, name) that the purchase was legit. Somehow Best Buy thinks it's okay and no fraud. Frick them.
I forgot to mention he also tried to purchase and Xbox Live Gold membership but was declined, so I know it was either a punk kid or a loser in his moms basement. All of this was in the 17 page letter I received.
Citi says they will further the investigation after telling them I didn't know this POS, much less knowing anyone who lives in California.

This episode has a lot of ideas for you.
In reality, report the dude to the police in his/her area. Making a police report also helps protect you against an allegation you were in it with him/her.

Shoot him in the head, chop the body up, take it to the gulf and feed the sharks. Then burn his house down and frick his mom.

My suggestion would be to NOT post all this information on a public message board if you really want retribution. You should have done it in secret and not used the internet.
If he accuses you, now there is plenty of circumstantial evidence to link you to the behavior.

Make sure the guy whose information you have isn't a second victim of the scammer.
If you're sure you have the guilty party, cyberstalk him and get him fired from his job. I guarantee you his boss doesn't want a fraudster with access to company assets.

Take a dump on his porch. Or better yet, underneath it so he won't be able to find it so easily.
