File a police report and provide to your credit card company. I’d also talk with Experian to see what your options are, if any, by giving them a heads up into your situation.
DO NOT confront or even contact the perp. About 10 years ago I stayed a few night at the Prince Conti hotel and while there, had my corporate Amex card # fraudulently used to purchase and deliver 2 really nice TVs to a “residence” just a few blocks from Frenchman St. After some very quick research I discovered it was the guy at the front desk who took my card on file and went shopping online the same day I checked in. Cops handled it and told me where he lived was a very high crime area and any act of retribution would have spelled certain doom for me.

You got his name and address. Call up the people who sell him water, gas, and electricity, and tell them you’re moving and need service terminated at that address as soon as possible.

So, why would they suspect you are claiming fraudulently, especially if the item was shipped to CA?

Credit card fraud seems to be almost inevitable these days. Where these things can really cost you is when you go to buy a house or a car and can't get the best rates.
The entire system of the credit bureaus in America is such a scam its ridiculous

Junk mail his address. Sign up for magazine subscriptions where they bill you later. Hit the library to get the order forms that are inserts in the mags in the periodical section.
His mailbox will be full of mags and marine bills. Probably other stuff you sign him up for that I am not remembering.

Interesting info in here. I've been the victim 4 times over the last 3 years. All three times, my bank caught suspicious purchases at Home Depot and twice the person tried to buy Xbox Live memberships.
They never gave me any information on the punks though. Probably best, for me.

This thread is what detectives like to call "premeditation" and "intent" and "evidence".
