Middle aged baw with a generic sales gig and I’m tired of my JC Penney Stafford crew necks. They don’t hold up

I’m in TX so need something that breaths and no 100% cotton.

My biggest thing is a firm collar that doesn’t fold or sag with wear and washing and stays white. Also don’t mind grey and off colors if I like them.

I’ll spend money if it’s quality

When I wear them, it’s simply as insurance against visible pit sweat.

Hanes X-Temp. Don't get the mesh one, get the cotton blend, it's more comfortable.

I get 2-3 packs of Brooks Brothers at a time and replace when looking old.

Tasc, once you wear one you’ll never go back. They are a bit pricey but they are magnificent.

Use better antiperspirant Also, if you or soaking your undershirt, it's seeping through to your main shirt too.

I have enough experience to know that this doesn’t happen unless you’re just pouring sweat.

Any antiperspirant with aluminum makes me pour sweat. I started using non-antiperspirant deodorant years ago by chance when I was stuck in an airport and the only deodorant available was the plain blue old spice travel size non-antiperspirant. It worked so well I've been using it ever since and now I never have pit sweat. I also stopped using undershirts now that I don't have the pit sweat. And now they make aluminum free antiperspirants which work pretty good too. Get rid of the aluminum and you will likely not need undershirts to hide pit stains anymore.

I've never understood wearing another layer for the purpose of combating sweat. Seems very counterproductive

The 32 Degrees brand at Costco are comfortable at a great price. They sell 3-packs in black or white and are 85% Polyester/15% Spandex.

Same issues and reasons as you for undershirt use. Many years ago I ordered a dozen or so different ones to find the best one for this purpose. I use Next Level 6210. 60/40 blend. Great collar. I order them from the below website.

I learned this also. I just use the plain OG Old Spice stick and don't really sweat very much anymore. Also mostly ditched the undershirts since they all mostly suck nowadays.

Its weird, I work in an office all day. If my hands get cold, I sweat. Not heat related at all.
