Need recommendations on gloves

We’re heading to Gatlinburg for Mardi Gras. The only cold weather I’ve ever dealt with is whatever we get in south Louisiana each winter. And when it does get cold, I stay indoors as much as possible.
But I’m sure the wife will want to experience as much outdoors as we can manage while up there.
So I need something to protect my delicate fingers.
Any suggestions?

Just pick a pair of liner gloves. Lightweight, flexible and will keep your hands warm enough.

I bet your wife lubes the hell out of your arse before she pounds it.

do y'all have an REI Co-Op down there? they have a large selection of gloves and you'd be able to tell how well they fit your hands and how warm they are.
I know most gloves have a rating as to how well they keep your hands warm, but I've not found that as helpful as actually trying them on.

This thread doesn't say much for the time you spent kicking around in a boxcar, Barney.

I want a glove, not gloves, that dispenses Jergens with eye blinks like Stephen Hawking's voice modulator so that I can do "the stranger" without putting my arm to sleep.
Doing that so often, putting my arm to sleep, I believe is unhealthy.

Pockets will do fine in Gatlinburg.

You seem more like mittens type of man.
